C1 SOFT SKILLS ARE THE FUTURE Poland

During the week 15-19. November 2021 place our first C1 Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils with the main theme SOFT SKILLS ARE THE FUTURE finally was realized. This mobility took place in the town of Szemud, Poland, where we were greeted by our main coordinators, wonderful colleagues and unique hosts from Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny w Szemudzie!

It was an amazing week, filled with useful seminars, learning / teaching / training activities and a lot of project work!

Day 1

In this first day the all groups from Bulgaria, Turkey,  Croatia, Italy and Spain was Welcomed to Erasmus+ Meeting. They watched special Concert and Presentations. They also had a walked tour trough the Polish school and special Welcome Dinner.

Day 2

The students visited a few Workshops with main topics "Business English - vocabulary", "What is a start-up?", "How to be successful/creative in life?" and "What job is right for you?"

Meantime the teachers visited another useful Workshops as:

  1. Teacher's Assertiveness Training -Online Workshops with Luiza Wójtowicz-Waga, 
  2. What is assertiveness? Are aggression and assertiveness the same? 
  3. Practical exercises in recognizing self and others as assertiveness, aggression, manipulation, and submission. 
  4. How to assertively express requests to students and parents? - They learned  how to effectively formulate requests to those around you at school. 
  5. How to assertively say no to the principal or other school teacher? 
  6. How to protect your time? - They learned effective ways to say no to students, parents, or others at school without feeling guilty. How can I be assertive about criticism?
  7. You will learn how to avoid self-centered feedback from parents or the school head. 
  8. What assertive attitude helps in situations of aggression in class and school? You will learn how to communicate without violence. 
  9. Accepting praise is also a sign of assertiveness. How to do it? 
  10. Strange as it sounds, praise is as hard to accept as criticism.
  11.  Learn to assertively enjoy the fact that friends and parents praise you.

Day 3

During the third day of our C1 mobility in Poland the whole Erasmus team visited Kashubian Philharmonic - Cultural Center in Wejherowo. There they had some Choreographic and Art Workshops (It was GREAT FUN ;) ) 

In the afternoon the group walked around Wejherowo with a guide. A lecture with a presentation about Kashubia folklore, language, tradition, rituals - Ph. D A.Kurowska-Susdorf. Visiting Museum of Kashubian-Pomeranian Literature and Music.

Day 4

A day dedicated to Gdańsk and cultural part of our project. The all teams visited European Solidarity Centre. and they had a walking tour with a guide - Old Town Gdańsk.

Day 5

During the last day of our 1st and just amazing mobility all participants enjoyed the  Homemade bread - workshops. They also visited Center for Education and Regional Promotion in Szymbark with a guide. The official part of the meeting ends with Coordinators' meeting, Certificate Ceremony and Ladder Wagon Ride to the Observation Tower.
