C3 GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER AND BE AWARE OF YOUR POTENTIAL TO START A BUSINESS IDEA Italy

On the days 07-11.11.2022 the fifth mobility under the "Start Our Future Today" project took place in the city of Cimina, Sicily. Teachers and students from Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Spain and Bulgaria visited the meeting and learned a lot about the main topic of the meeting "GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER AND BE AWARE OF YOUR POTENTIAL TO START A BUSINESS IDEA". In addition, they visited and toured several Italian schools, learned a lot about the country's culture and history, and visited many of the sights of the city of Cimina, Allia, Mezzojuso, Monreale, Ventimiglia di Sicilia, and Bauchina, as well as the capital, Palermo!

We thank the Erasmus Plus program for all the opportunities provided to travel, learn and improve ourselves.

1st day - First day of the fifth mobility under the Start Our Future Today project, part of the Erasmus Plus program, in Sicily. Today, all teams visited the partner school and got to know the Italian education system. They participated in the welcoming ceremony and met the mayor of Chimina. In the afternoon they toured the sights, and at the end of the day they sang and danced to the accompaniment of the Italian students and music teachers!

2nd day - Day dedicated to a cultural-tourist tour of the city of Palermo. Everyone learned a lot about its history and sights.

3rd day - The groups today visited the Gurfa Caves and the Vocational School in the town of Alia. There they were met by teachers and students from tourism and cooking. First they had a workshop where they learned how to make the typical Sicilian sweets Fruti di martorana. They had lunch with food prepared and served by the students. Then they also visited the town of Mezojuso and the "Island of Puppets" museum, where they learned a lot about the island's traditional puppet theater (part of the UNESCO cultural heritage), and at the end of the day they even had a small performance.

4th day - This day the groups visited the cathedral and monastery of Monreale, near Palermo. They also learned a lot about traditional Sicilian mosaics at a specially organized practical workshop.

5th day - 5. That day the groups visited schools in Ventimiglia di Sicilia and Baucina. They held hands-on activities for the production of a mosaic typical of the country, had a working meeting and met and greeted the mayors of the two cities.
