C4 SOFT SKILLS WITH FIRM STEPS TO FUTURE (Communication and Teamwork) Turkey

During the week 20-24. June 2022 place our third Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils with the main theme OFT SKILLS WITH FIRM STEPS TO FUTURE (Communication and Teamwork) was realized. This mobility took place in the town of Talas / KAYSERİ, Turkey, where we were greeted by our wonderful colleagues and unique hosts from ÖZEL TEVFİK KUŞOĞLU ORTAOKULU!

It was an amazing week, filled with useful seminars, learning / teaching / training activities and a lot of project work!

Day 1

First day of our third mobility for exchange of good practices under the project "Start Our Future Today - S. O. F. T." in the Turkish city of Kayseri. The teams from the partner schools visited and toured the Turkish school, participated in a welcoming ceremony and met with the school principal and their entire Erasmus team. Then the students introduced themselves, presented each school to the hosts and all the other guests. At the end of the day, the all teams also visited the mayor of Talas.

Day 2

During the second day of the mobility in Turkey, all international teams had training to work with the Canva.com platform, as well as a practical workshop.

In the afternoon they visited the old center of the Talas region and visited a typical ethnographic house-museum.

We remind you that all these activities are part of the Start Our Future Today project, and are 100% funded by the European Erasmus Plus program!

Day 3

The third day for our Erasmus teams, which are in the city of Kayseri, Turkey as part of the implementation of the activities of the project "Start Our Future Today", was full of challenges. All children participated in 4 workshops, working in international groups - robotics, 3D modeling, mandala club and woodworking!

In the afternoon, each group presented to all participants what they had achieved. And the evening was dedicated to a well-deserved rest - dancing!

It seems to have had an extremely useful and interesting day!

Day 4

The penultimate day of mobility in Turkey under the project "Start Our Future Today - S. O. F. T" was dedicated to cultural exchange and emotions. The day of our Erasmus team started at 3:30 am to be in time for the sunrise and the world famous balloons of Cappadocia. In addition to this landmark, they visited the Yuchisar Fortress - a rock monastery complex with over 100 rock churches, some of which date from the time when Christianity was still persecuted in the Roman Empire. In the afternoon they saw the underground city, watched how the traditional Cappadocian pottery is made and last but not least, they visited the so-called fairy chimneys and the valley of the imagination! A long but full of emotions day!

Day 5

Yesterday was the last day of mobility under the project "Start Our Future Today - S. O. F. T." in the Turkish city of Kayseri. The Erasmus group visited the Old Mosque in the city, the library from the time of the Seljuks, and today turned into a book market. Then they toured the fortress of Kayseri with an archeological museum. And at the end of the day they were part of the farewell dinner and the ceremony of presenting the certificates of participation!

This wonderful week with many useful project activities put an end to the "Erasmus" adventure for this school year! From September we have many more destinations to conquer, new friendships and endless adventures! We are extremely grateful for the opportunities that the European program "Erasmus Plus" for exchange of good practices provides us free of charge!
