C5 Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils HOW TO PRESENT OURSELVES IN THE BEST LIGHT Bulgaria

On the days 27-31.03.2023 the sixth mobility under the "Start Our Future Today" project took place in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Teachers and students from all partners countries visited the meeting and learned a lot about the main topic of the meeting "HOW TO PRESENT OURSELVES IN THE BEST LIGHT". In addition, they visited and toured several Bulgarian schools and organizations, learned a lot about the country's culture and history, and visited many of the sights of Bulgaria and Sofia!

Day one - all teams (friends and colleagues) from Poland, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Croatia were welcomed at the Bulgarian school for our last meeting under the Start Our Future Today project. They were welcomed at school with the traditional Bulgarian bread with honey and the specially prepared program professionally performed by the school choir. After that, they walked around the buildings of our school and visited a few classes in the 2nd and 3rd grade, where the students eagerly awaited them and showed the guests how talented and hospitable they are. The afternoon was dedicated to workshops for the teachers, and super fun hands-on robotics and art activities for the kids!

Second and third day of the Bulgarian household under our project Start Our Future Today! All partners visited the beautiful Plovdiv and learned a lot about Bulgarian culture, history and traditions. All of them together attended many interesting trainings related to the topic of the project - developing the so-called "soft" skills and preparing for entering the labor market. They got acquainted with the Bulgarian legislation in connection with the issuance and use of patents, and the Bulgarian director, Mr. Danko Kalapish, trained them on the subject of "Rhetoric and Stage Speaking".

The last two days of Erasmus the teams from Poland, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Turkey in Bulgaria and in 107. OU "Khan Krum", Sofia. Unfortunately, due to a number of bomb threats in all schools in the area, the partners could no longer visit the Bulgarian school, but instead they visited the Elisaveta Vazova Vocational High School, where they learned in detail about vocational training in Bulgaria. They also visited the National History Museum.

They also had another professional seminar on "How to prepare a good CV". At the end of the week, everyone received their certificates of participation in the meeting in an official ceremony.

At the end of this week, it's time to say "Goodbye" to the project partners, because this was our last mobility!

In these three years we learned and saw a lot. We visited gorgeous places and met wonderful people. We thank the Erasmus Plus program for the travel, learning and development opportunities provided to our teachers and students.
